Christie's Place Adds Youngest Member Ever To Board Of Directors (Press Release)

Local Entertainment Consultant Chosen as Youngest Member To Join Charity’s Board

San Diego, CA- In the midst of funding scarcity and budget cuts many charitable organizations are attempting to think outside of the box in their mission to raise funds. With the addition of 25-year-old Miles Aaron to their board of directors, Christie’s Place is hoping to incorporate new branding techniques for the generation of funds to sustain activities that Christies Place provides for the families they serve.

West Coast based and current resident of San Diego, Miles Aaron, was honored on Monday by being voted onto the Board of Directors for San Diego based charity, Christie’s Place. Not only is the appointment an honor but the fact that he is 25 years old makes him the youngest member ever to join the board of directors. When asked as to why they chose him; Executive Director Liz Brosnan had this to say; “Miles is bringing a new perspective and expertise to our Board of Directors, truly enriching the level of organizational leadership. His experience as a business owner within the urban entertainment community as well as his marketing and branding capabilities will add a tremendous amount of value to Christie’s Place and assist our efforts in raising community awareness as well as achieving our mission. We are honored he has joined our efforts.”

Miles Aaron has worked for the past eight years as a entertainment consultant with a number of urban based companies including record labels, film production companies and night clubs. He describes his work as creating and maintaining profitable brands for his clients through traditional and innovative marketing techniques. He connected with Christie’s Place last November when he along with other entertainment companies in San Diego created a food drive in conjunction with Downtown San Diego based Night Club Sin. The food drive led to Miles developing a working relationship with Christie’s Place and connecting his consulting clients with the charity for future charity events designed to raise money for the charity while also building upon their own brand.

As the youngest member on the Board Of Directors, Miles Aaron plans to create innovative marketing plans that will continue to bring revenue into Christie’s Place. He also has made it his mission to get the entertainment community more involved in Christie’s Place fundraisers and spreading awareness of the amazing work the charity does for the San Diego community. When asked as to why he chose to work with Christie’s Place, Miles Aaron was quoted; “As entertainers and tastemakers it is our responsibility to give back to the community and stand as a example for those who look up to us. The HIV/AIDS epidemic plagues us young people, as much as anyone and for us to not use our powers to spread the awareness and ultimately prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS is nothing less than us holding our own communities back.”
